Adding Video Encoders

Adding video encoders is the process of configuring information about each video encoder that will operate in your VSM deployment.

Video encoders convert analog video from analog cameras into digital video that can be used by VSM. An encoder is identified by an IP address or host name and by type. In addition, encoders often are secured by a user name and password, which you should provide as required.
