The 1000Base-SX/LX ports use identical SC fiber connectors and multimode 62.5/125μm fiber. The Gigabit Ethernet ports support IEEE 802.3z Gigabit Ethernet through the use of modular Gigabit Interface Converters (GBICs). Supported media includes multimode fiber and single mode fiber.
