The rivingknifeis mountedbetween several shims that
canbe relocated asneeded tocenter the knife behindthe
blade. It is held in place by two bolts and hex nutsat its
base.The boltsare set inslots that permit front-to-back
adjusb'nent.

Unplugthe saw.
Raisethesaw blade byturningthe height/beveladiuating
har_twheel¢ountsml_ckwisa.
Liftthe anti-kickback pawls and place a framing square
ors'_mightedge againstboththe saw bladeand the riving
knife.
The saw blade and rivingknife are aligned when the
framing squarecontacts both the biade and rh/ingknife
eventywith no gaps.
If the dvthg knife and saw blade am not In alignment,
adjustment is needed. To adjust:.
Unplugthe saw and raisethe b_adeguardassambly.
Removethe throat plate and the bladeguardassembly.
Move the shimsto bringthe riving knifeinto alignment
withthe saw blade.
NOTE"Itmay benecessarytoremovethe shimsandturn
themin an opposite direction.
Ralnstafltherivingknife between the shims.
Recheck the atignmentby placing the framingsquare
beside the saw blade as explained above.
