Readthe appropriate sectionwhich describesthe type

crosscuts before procaed{ng.
Unplugthe saw.
Lowerthe blade and removethe screw holdingthe
throat plate in place.Remove thethroatplate.
RaLsethesaw blade.
Put the sew inanglemode by pushingthe bevel
lockinglavar to theright.Turnthe height adjusting
hsndwheeluntil the b(adeindicster showsa30" ar_jis.
Pushthe bevellocking{eversecurelyto the [eftto lock
the angle,
Loosenthe two hexnuts st the base of the rivingknife.
Do not remove hex nuts. Removethe rivingknife/
blade guard assembly.Retightanthe two hex nuts on
thebase,
Lowerthe blade and insert the throatplate, then
securelytighten thethroat plate screw.
Bring theblade backto gO°.
Raise the blade_o the correcthaigh'tbytuTningthe
heightad{ustinghandwheelcounterclockwise.
NOTE: Carefullycheckall setupsand rctsta the blade
onefur{revolutionto assure properclearancebefore
connecting saw topower source.
Feed the workpiscs into the blade.
Alwaysuse push blocks,push sticks,andfeather-
boards whenmakingnon-through cutsto avoid the
riskof seriousinjury,
