Set the miter gaugeto g0°andpress the bevel Iocldng
tevartowards the tabteto Iosk.
Place asupport (the same height as saw table) behind
thesaw for the cut work.
Makesure the wood is olaar ofthe blade beforeturning
onthe sew.
Letthe saw blade buildup to fullspeed beforemoving
the miter gauge and the workplace intothe blade.
Holdthe workplace firmlywith both hands on the miter
gaugeand feed the workpieoe intothe blade.
When the cut_smade, turn thesaw off. Wait for the
blade to cornsto a complatastop beforersmov_ngAs
workpisce.

Removethesliding mitertable and move the accessory
tableto the left side.
Adjustthe bevel angte to the desired setting.
Setthe blade to the correctdepth.
Positionthe r_pfencethe desired distancefrom the left
sideof the blade and lock down the handle.
If rippinga piece larger than36 in. long, place a
supportthe sameheight asthe _.ble surfacebehind
thesaw for the cut work.
Turnthe powerswitch tothe ON position.
Positiontheworkpisce fiaton thetabis with the edge
flushagainst theripfence. Letthe bisde buii_ up to full
speed beforefeeding the workplace into the blade.
Usingapushstick and/or push blocks, slowlyfeed
the workplacetoward the bb.de. Stand slightlytothe
sl_e ofthe wood asit contactsthe blade toreducethe
chanceof injury shouldkickt_k occur.
Oncethe blade has made contactwith the workplace,
usethe hand closestto the rip fenceto guideit. Make
surethe edge of the workplaceremains in solidcontact
withboth the rip fenceand thesurface of thetable. If
rippinga narrowpiece, usea push stickto movethe
piece throughthe cut andpast theblade.
