The miter locking clamps are presetat the factory but may
requireadjustingafter extendeduse or if damageoccurs in
shipping.
Unplugthe saw.
Loosenthe set screw behind each lockingclamp.
Loosen thescrew on top of each Iockingclamp.
Uft the locldng clamp to the up position,
Pushthe clamp forward tight againstthe front railto
bringthe c_p intoaiigr_'_ent.
When the clamps arecorrectlypositioned, retightenthe
scows and the setscrews.
Pushboth front and rearmiter lockingclamps down to
securethe s|idingmiter table.

Unplugthe saw.
Remove themiter table and accessory tabla.
Removethe _ont emdrear rails by looseningthe rail
crampsand dlding the rai_soff.
Rotate eachrail clamp to the {sft unti{ithits or comes in
correctwith the bo'_om otthe saw table.
Tightenraitholder nut until it is snug.
Loosenrail holder nutone-fourth (1/4) turn.
Replacethe rails and check the rail clamps.

Unplugthe saw.
Removethe hexnut on the lever usings 3/8 in. nut
driver.
Removet_e backup p{ateand springplate. Rotate the
springplate 180°and reinstallon the handleshaft.
Reassemble allparts end tighten hexnut securely.
NOTE;The spring plate offers two endsfor use before
re_[uiringreplacement.
