Installing a Heat Sink

1Use a lint-free cloth, remove thermal grease from the heatsink.

2Apply new thermal grease evenly to the center of the top new processor.

CAUTION: Using excess thermal grease can cause grease to contact the processor shield, which can cause contamination of the processor socket.

3Place the new heatsink onto the system board .

4Tighten the four captive screws on the heatsink .
