POWER

The power system of FlyBook includes an adapter and battery. Through the adapter, a power source directly supplies the computer with power and charges the battery at the same time. The battery supplies the computer with power only when the adapter is disconnected from the power supply and it is not connected to FlyBook.

The computer controls power activities through an ACPI power management unit. The unit minimizes power consumption and at the same time optimizes system performance. Windows interacts and takes charge of all power-saving affairs for the computer.

Adapter

The adapter can be connected to most power sources, however it is a good idea to verify the following before connecting the adapter to a power source:

The voltage and frequency of the power source must always conform to the specifications of the adapter.

The power plug must connect perfectly to the power outlet.

Otherwise, do not link up the computer.

If the adapter connects properly with the power source, the green LED indicator will light up.

Battery system

With 3 2200mAH high-capacity Li-ion battery cells, if fully charged, the battery pack should keep the computer working for various hours, depending on the applications and modes used.

Note

If the computer is being used for the first time, the battery pack must be fully charged.
