Ethernet Card Hardware

The Ethernet Card is an interface card that plugs into an EPSON printer’s optional Type B interface slot. It has connectors for either an Ethernet Thin Coaxial (10BASE2) or an Ethernet Twisted-Pair (10BASE-T) network connection.

The interface software consists of the following programs used to install and configure the card on any network:

0EPSON Zoner is a utility for installing the Ethernet Card on an EtherTalk (Apple) network.

0EPSON Namer is a utility that assigns a unique name to your printer on an EtherTalk (Apple) network.

0EPSON Net! for Windows NT is a menu-driven utility for configuring IP addresses and other settings with TCP/IP.

0EPSON Net! for OS/2 is a character based utility for installing on an OS/2 NetBIOS network.
