Using the EPSON StatusMonitor (Macintosh)

To use the StatusMonitor, click the EPSON StatusMonitor

button in the Utility dialog box. The following dialog box

appears:

The StatusMonitor checks the amount of ink remaining when it

is first opened. To recheck the ink-level information, click the

Update button.

Active path

The active paper path, or currently selected paper source, for

the printer appears in this box. If paper is loaded in the front or

rear manual feed slot, that manual feed slot is the active paper

path. If no paper is loaded in either manual feed slot, the paper

tray is the active paper path. If the 250 sheet lower paper

cassette is installed and no paper is loaded in the standard

paper tray, the lower paper tray becomes the active paper path.

Operation The Operate light is on but nothing prints. Nothing prints and the control panel lights are on or flashing. The printer sounds like it is printing, but nothing prints. The printer operation check prints well, but nothing prints from within an application program. 8-12 Page Color documents print out in black and white. Printing starts too high or too low on the page. 8-14 Print speed is not what you expect. Something on the page is wrong or missing.
