Cause What to do
The printer’s voltage rating
may not match the voltage of
your electrical outlet.
Check the printer and outlet voltage
ratings. If the voltages do n ot match,
unplug the printer immediately and
contact your dealer.
Warning:
Do not reconnect the power cord to an
electrical outlet that does not have
matching voltage.
The printer does not work and the control panel lights are off.
Cause What to do
The printer is turned off. Press the Operate button.
The Operate light will come on.
The power cord is not
properly plugged into the
electrical outlet.
Turn off the printer, make sure the
power cord is firmly plugged into the
electrical outlet, and turn the printer
back on.
The electrical outlet is
controlled by an outside
switch or automatic tim er.
Use a different outlet.
The electric outlet is out of
order. Plug another electrical device i nto the
outlet to determine whether the outlet
is working. If it is not, use a different
outlet.
