Note:
❑The paper sizes you can load vary depending on the paper source
that you use, see “Paper Path and Loadable Paper Size” on page
2-3 for details.
❑Always load envelopes short edge first. Load envelopes flap edge to
the left with the flap side up when loading in the paper tray. Load
envelopes flap edge to the left with the flap side down when loading
in the rear manual feed slot. For C5 envelopes, load the flap edge
(short edge) first with the flap side up (printable surface down) in
the paper tray, or load C5 envelopes flap edge first with the flap side
down (printable surface up) in the rear manual feed slot.
Paper Source
Your printer has a paper tray as well as front and rear manual
feed slots. If you purchase and install the optional 250 Sheet
Lower Paper Cassette, the Paper Tray (Lower) option is also
available. Select the appropriate paper source, or select Auto
Select to cause the printer driver to automatically select the
correct paper source according to the Paper Size and Media
Type settings.

Orientation
Use this setting to specify the direction of printing on the page,
