You are not printing on the
correct side of the paper. Check the paper packaging for the
correct side for printi ng ; then make
sure the printable side is loaded
correctly.
The printer driver settings
are not correct. Check the printer driver settings to
make sure they are appropriate. If
these settings are correct, check your
application because some settings are
overridden by application settings.

for Windows, or Chapter 4 for
Macintosh.
The High Speed setting is
selected in the printer driver. To obtain higher quality output, make
sure High Speed is not selected.

The printer driver failed to
obtain the Printer ID from
the printer automaticall y.
Open the Printer and Option
Information dialog box from the
Utility menu and input the printer ID
manually.
Colors are different than you expect.Cause What to do
The print head nozzles are
clogged. Clean the print head. See “Cleaning
the Print Head” on page 8-37.
Black ink is selected in your
printer driver. Set the Ink setting to Color.
