3. Using the table below, confirm your setting preference and

press the Reset button to toggle the setting, if necessary.

Setting Light status

On (enabled): Black ink out light is on

Off (disabled): Cyan ink out light is on

4. Press the Eject button to exit the setting mode or press

Operate to exit the mode and turn the printer off.

Parallel interface ECP mode

If your computer and the computer’s interface support ECP

mode (see your computer documentation for deta ils), you can

set the printer parall el interface mode to ECP , which increases

communication speed between the printer and computer. If

you encounter any printing problem, turn this setting off. To

make or verify this setting, follow the steps below.

1. Make sure that the printer is turned off.

2. Hold down the Reset and Cleaning buttons and press the

Operate button to turn on the printer. The Operate light

and the paper tray light start flashing.

3. Using the table below, confirm your setting preference and

press the Reset button to toggle the setting, if necessary.
