Placing the Paper in the Printer

If the media tracking system is enabled, a barcode is scanned when you install roll paper in the printer. This enables the printer to keep track of the amount of paper remaining at all times and warn you when it is running out. See page 51 for more information.

Follow these steps to place the paper in the printer:

1. Open the roll paper cover.

2.Place the roll paper in the roll holder as shown. (The gray end of the spindle goes on the right.)
