] = CR/LF (carriage return/line feed) (hex 0D 0A)

}= Carriage return (no line feed, hex 0D))

•= Space character

E= Escape key (hex 1B)

X!	=	Input number
X@	=	Input number (for tie)
X#	=	Output number
X$	=	Numeric dB value
X%	=	Audio gain
X^	=	Audio attenuation
X&	=	Volume adjustment range
X*	=	Mute, executive mode, power supply
X(	=	Global preset #
X1) =		Video/audio mute:

01 – 12

00 – 12 (00 = untied)

01 – 08

–18 to +24 (45 steps of gain or attenuation)

0 – 24 (1 dB/step)

1 – 18 (1 dB/step)

0 – 64 (1 dB/step except for 0-to-1, which is 34 dB) (see the table on page 4-9)

(0 = off/not OK, 1 = on/OK)

32 maximum (0 = current configuration)

0 = no mutes

1 = video mute

2 = audio mute

3 = video and audio mute

X1! = Firmware version number to second decimal place (x.xx)
