A TV LCD/plasma oferece possibilidades de ligação diversificadas para computador pessoal, leitor de DVD, gravador de vídeo, câmara de vídeo, etc. Quer sejam imagens de televisão, de vídeo ou de PC, todas elas são apresentadas com elevada resolu- ção e nitidez e isentas de distorções, na superfície totalmente plana do ecrã. As imagens distinguem-se por um luminosidade excelente e um brilho extraordinário. Outras características importantes são a grande dimensão diagonal do ecrã com uma rela- ção largura/altura de 16:9 e a profundidade de construção muito reduzida. Para o funcionamento de televisão é necessária a ligação a uma antena terrestre, um sistema de recepção SAT ou um sistema de TV por cabo.

O comando faz-se interactivamente através do telecomando fornecido juntamente e o menu no ecrã (OSD). Aí podem ser efec- tuados vários ajustes na qualidade da imagem.

Um sistema de arrefecimento sem ventoinha permite a utilização da TV LCD/plasma sem ruídos perturbadores. Silenciosa como uma televisão convencional, a TV LCD/plasma é adequada para salas e salas de conferência.
