Use of the picture-in-picture function

With the button on the remote control switch the sound to mute.

SPress the button , the sound is now mute.

SPress the button again to cancel out mute again. You can also use the button [VOL "] to do this.

The picture-in picture function offers you the possibility of viewing a second picture source in addition to watching the TV programme.

The second reception unit (tuner), DVD player, video recorder, SAT receiver or PC can be used as the picture source. These have to be connected to the input jacks on the rear side of the LCD/plasma TV.

Picture-in-Picture (PIP)

SPress the [PIP] button on the remote control.

Split screen

SPress the [PIP] button on the remote control again. The large and small pictures last selected can be seen next to each other.

SSwap between the main and secondary picture (picture-in-picture) with the button ["A PIP] or [F2] on the remote control or under the menu option <Display Quick swap >.

STo terminate the picture-in-picture function press the [PIP] button on the remote control once or twice or under menu option <Display Layout> set Sin- gle.

SPress the button [i] on the remote control to display the information about the main and secondary pic- tures.

SMenu option <Layout> Single - Single screen PIP - Picture-in-Picture Split screen - Divided display

SMenu option <Secondary input>

With the buttons ["] / [A] select a Secondray input via the remote control.

Without the OSD menu you can select a Secondary input source by pressing the [TV] / [VIDEO] / [PC] / [F4] button.

For the combinations between source and Secon- dary input please refer to the table on page 14.

SMenu option <PIP Size>

If you have set picture-in-picture, you can alter the size of the PIP picture.

SMenu option <PIP Horiz. Pos.>

If you have set picture-in-picture, you can alter the horizontal position of the PIP picture.

SMenu option <PIP Vert. Pos.>

If you have set picture-in-picture, you can alter the vertical position of the PIP picture.
