OSD settings

S Press the [MENU] button to open the main menu.

S With the button [Y] or [B] select the <Setup> menu and press the button ["].

S Select <OSD> with the button [Y] or [B] and press the button ["].

Time Out

Under the menu option <Time Out> you can alter the display duration (time after last actuation up to mask out) of the OSD menu.

S Select <Time Out> [Y] / [B].

S You can select one of the following possibilities: OFF; 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 seconds [A] / ["].

Transparency

The function <Transparency> offers the possibility of changing the transparency of the OSD menu.

S Select <Transparency> [Y] / [B].

S You can switch off the transparency or change it wit- hin the range 1 to 10 [A] / ["].

The value 10 is the maximum transparency of the OSD menu.

Show Logo

In the menu option <Show Logo> the logo displayed upon switching on or in the absence of a signal can be switched on or off.

S Select <Show Logo> [Y] / [B]. S Select On or Off [A] / ["].

Reset to factory defaults

You have the option of resetting all changes made in the OSD menu back to the original default setting.

S Select <Reset to factory defaults> [Y] / [B].

S Press the button ["] to reset to the default settings. The LCD/plasma TV switches automatically to standby mode.

Setting the language

The first time your LCD/plasma TV is installed the language for the OSD menu is set in accordance with your selection.

You can change the language setting in the menu option <Language>.

S Select <Language> [Y] / [B].

S Select the language [A] / ["].

The following languages can be selected: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Portuguese and Po- lish.

TTX Setup

Select a character set for teletext mode: WEST, EAST, RUSSIAN or ARABIC.

This is governed by the language setting of the teletext used. Please use the option WEST for west Europe!

S To close the menu press the red button (M).
