Blade Tilt: To adjust the blade tilt, loosen the blade tilt lock, turn the blade tilt handwheel to position the blade at the desired angle, and tight- en the lock shown in Figure 35.

Blade Height: To set the blade height, unlock the blade height lock, turn the handwheel to set the blade height approximately 14" higher than the workpiece, then re-tighten the blade height lock.

Fence Lock: After adjusting the fence to the desired width of cut, lock it in place by firmly push- ing the fence lock down until it stops.

Digital Readout: Displays the current blade angle when the handwheel is moved and power is connected to the table saw. See Page 53 for setting the digital readout. 

Blade Selection

This section on blade selection is by no means comprehensive. Always follow the saw blade manufacturer's recommendations to ensure safe and efficient operation of your table saw.

Ripping blade features:

Best for cutting with the grain of the workpiece.

20-40 teeth.

Flat-top ground tooth profile.

Large gullets for large chip removal.

Alternate top bevel tooth profile.
