Click the Save button and save the certificate. Make sure to keep track of the name and location of the certificate.

Next install the certificate on the Thor VM1.

Install a Root CA Certificate

Note: This section is only if the Windows certificate store is used. If the certificate store is not used, copy the certificate to the C:\Program Files\Summit\certs folder or other path specified in the Summit Certs global parameter.

Copy the certificate file to theThor VM1. The certificate file has a .CER extension. Locate the file and double-tap on it. If presented with a security warning, confirm that you want to open the file.

If the Certificate Wizard does not start automatically when you double-tap the certificate .CER file:

1.Select Start > Run and type certmgr.msc in the text box and tap OK (Windows Embedded Standard 2009 only).

2.In the left pane, right-clickTrusted Root Certificate Authorities and select All Tasks > Import.

3.The Certificate Import Wizard starts.

4.Tap Next and use the Browse... button to locate the Root certificate copied to the Thor VM1 then tap Open.

5.The certificate filename and path are displayed. Tap Next.

Tap the Install Certificate button.

The certificate import wizard starts. Tap Next.
