Media specifications

Use the Understand supported sizes and Understand supported media types and weights tables to determine the correct media to use with your printer, and determine what features work with your media. See the Set minimum margins section for information about the printing margins used by the printer, see the Guidelines for two-sided (duplex) printing section for guidelines that should be followed when printing on both side of a page.

Understand specifications for supported media

Always use the correct media-type setting in the printer driver, and configure the trays for the correct media type. HP recommends testing any paper before buying it in large quantities.
