Operating System Overview

Your B132L/B160L workstation uses the HP-UX operating system, version

10.2or greater. Your B132L+/B180L workstation uses the HP-UX operating system, version 10.2 or greater with Additional Core Enhancements (ACE). Instant Ignition systems, (systems with preloaded software), have X-win- dows and Hewlett-Packard’s graphical user interface, HP VUE version 3.0, installed and conﬁgured.

Please refer to the “Instant Ignition System Conﬁguration Information” sheet that shipped with your system for details on conﬁguration.

If you have any questions about Instant Ignition, refer to Using Your HP

Workstation for more information.

NOTICE:When you power on your workstation, a selftest is performed before the system boots.
