Status/Solution
Adjust the scanner to fix this problem as described in Adjust the scanner on page 45.
You must use plain, white paper when adjusting the scanner. See Adjust the scanner on page 45.

The same number has already been registered into another speed dial location.
The machine can hold only 5 Favorites.
The broadcasting and delayed fax can hold 5 jobs in total. Cancel a scheduled job and try again.
The print cartridge is low or has run out of ink. To install a new 3rint cartridge, see Replace the print cartridge on page 39. Although this message is displayed, you can make a copy or print a report. Incoming faxes will be stored in memory. You must manually print them, see Reprinting faxes on page 36.
Print cartridge is not installed or improperly installed.
The time you set for fax forwarding is wrong.
You attempted to cancel a scheduled job but no jobs are scheduled.
You attempted to delete, print or send the Favorites document when there is no document stored.
You attempted to delete a junk fax number when there is no junk fax number.
The machine can hold only 20 junk fax numbers.
You must load a document before proceeding.
Memory has become full while receiving a fax. It will not answer the telephone until memory has been cleared. Print any faxes stored in memory and, if necessary, clear scheduled jobs. See Reprinting faxes on page 36 and see Clearing memory on page 36.
