HP HSR6800 routers provide LEDs for FRUs to indicate their operating status.

LED		Status	Description
		Off	No CF card is present or the CF card is not recognizable.
		Steady on	A CF card is in position and has been detected.
	CF		The system is accessing the CF card.
(green)		Flashing	CAUTION:
			In this state, do not insert or remove the CF card. Otherwise, the
			file system on the CF card will be damaged.
		Off	No link is present on the port.
	LINK	Steady green	A 1000 Mbps link is present.
(green/orange)
		Steady orange	A 10/100 Mbps link is present.
		Off	No data is being received or transmitted.
	ACT
		Flashing	Data is being received or transmitted at a rate of
(yellow)			10/100/1000 Mbps.
		Off	The system is operating correctly and there is no alarm.
	ALM
		Steady on	A fault has occurred to the system. In this state, check the
(red)			system log immediately.
	PAL	Off	The system power supply is operating correctly.
			The available power is not efficient, or power modules of
(red)	M	Steady on
			different specifications are inserted.
