
ALLBASE/NET Configurations
The client and server systems can be either an HP 3000 Series 900s running MPE/iX or an HP 9000 Series 700s/800s running

Hardware and Software Requirements
ALLBASE/NET clien ts and servers must be connected by a LAN or a WAN (via X.25). The LAN or WAN provides all the necessary hardw are and link softw are to allow comm unication between machines.
NS (Network Services) and ARPA services (Advanced Research Projects Agency) are the software interfaces that enable comm unication between machines on the same network using the TCP/IP protocol.
