SHOW USER

Use the SHOW USER command to displa y the contents of one or more user pro￿les in the NETUsers ￿le on the serv er.

SHOW USER can be abbreviated to SU.

To issue this command, y ou must log on as MANA GER.SYS, have SM capability, or have AM capability for the account speci￿ed in the command.

NETUtil Syntax

netutil=> SHOW USER

Client Node Name/Session Type Name: ClientNodeName

Client Login Name: ClientLoginName

Parameters

ClientNodeName is either the node name of a clien t system or an asterisk (*).

If you enter an asterisk (*) for the clien t node name, all user pro￿les in the NETUsers ￿le with the speci￿ed clien t login name are displa yed. If you enter an asterisk at both prompts, the con tents of the entire NETUsers ￿le are displa yed.

ClientLoginName is either the login name of the user on the clien t node or an asterisk

(*).

If you enter an asterisk for the clien t login name, all user pro￿les in the NETUsers ￿le with the speci￿ed clien t node name are displa yed. If you enter an asterisk at both prompts, the con tents of the entire NETUsers ￿le are displa yed.

Examples

In this example, all user pro￿les with the clien t login name ann.orders,vendors are shown.

netutil=> show user
