Deleting a User Profile

To delete one or more user pro￿les from the NETUsers ￿le use the DELETE USER command at the NETUtil prompt. The curren t client node name and clien t login name uniquely iden tify the entry to be deleted. If y ou enter the client login name, you delete the user pro￿le that has the same name. If y ou enter an asterisk, y ou delete all user pro￿les with the curren t client node name.

To delete a single user pro￿le, do the following:

1.Enter the client node name for the user pro￿le y ou want to delete.

2.Enter the client login name.

3.Con￿rm the deletion b y entering Y or N.

To delete all user pro￿les with the same clien t node name, do the follo wing:

1.Enter the client node name for the user pro￿les y ou want to delete.

2.Enter an asterisk (*) for the clien t login name.

3.Con￿rm the deletions b y entering Y or N.

Displaying a User Profile

To display the contents of one or more user pro￿les in the NETUsers ￿le t ype the SHOW USER command at the NETUtil prompt. Y ou can display all user pro￿les, user pro￿les for a speci￿c node, or user pro￿les with the same clien t login name.

To display one user pro￿le, do the follo wing:

1.Enter the client node name for the user pro￿les y ou want to display.

2.Enter the client login name for the user.

To display all of the user pro￿les in the NETUsers ￿le, do the following:

1.Enter an asterisk (*) for the clien t node name.

2.Enter an asterisk (*) for the clien t login name.

To display all user pro￿les with the same clien t login name, do the following:

1.Enter an asterisk (*) for the clien t node name.

2.Enter the client login name.

To display all user pro￿les for a speci￿c clien t node, do the follo wing:

1.Enter the client node name.

2.Enter an asterisk (*) for the clien t login name.
