1.Verify that your computer has the latest level IDE
2.Verify that your system has the latest level IDE controller device driver. Refer to the documentation for your computer or IDE controller to determine which device driver file to look for.
3.Verify that you have the correct speed media for your write speed. Low speed media cannot be formatted at 12x speed.
