Before you begin installing the drive, be sure your computer meets the
following system requirements.

computer.Be sure to have this documentation available.
Handling Instructions
Toprotect your CD-RW drive during installation, observe the following
precautions:
vHandle the drive with care. Dropping or jarring the drive can damage the
components inside the drive housing.
vKeep the CD-RW drive in its antistatic bag until you areready to install the
drive in your computer.Limit your movement. Movement can cause static
electricity buildup.
vDo not force insertion of the power cable. Doing so might damage the
connector or the drive.
