Before you begin:

43.
Note: This illustrati on depic ts the server in the upright pos i-
tion. I t is r ecommended tha t the server be placed on
its left side before performing this service procedure.

Þ2Ý Power supply
To remove the power supply, do the following:
1. Pow er-off the se rver, if it is on.
2. Unplug the server.
3. Remove the le ft-side cover (see “Removing the s ide
cover” on pa ge 44.
4. Turn the server onto its right sid e so that the op en left
side is facing up.
Note: Rotate the feet in toward the server so they do
not detach due to t he weight of the server.
5. Remove the su pport br acket (see “Rem oving the sup-
port bracket” on page 45) and air baffle.
