4.9.2Ops Panel

The Ops Panel is an integral part of the enclosure chassis assembly and is not field replaceable.

4.9.3SCM I/O Module

Please refer to section 2.7, ”SCM I/O Module Installation”, on page 23 for full information on installing the SCM I/O module.

4.9.3.1Removing the Module

ATTENTION Do not remove this module unless a replacement can be immediately added. The system must not be run without all units in place.

Electrically this unit can be hot plugged but the FC connection will be disconnected.

1Using two hands, grasp each latch between the thumb and forefinger of each hand. Squeeze thumb and forefinger together to release the latch. Pull the latches forward to cam the module out of the enclosure (Figure 4–7).

2Grip the latch handles and withdraw the module (Figure 4–5).
