1.1Document Purpose and Scope

This document describes the Intel® IQ80219 evaluation platform board (IQ80219). This platform is targeted for the Intel® 80219 general purpose PCI processor (80219). The board serves as both an evaluation platform for developers using 80219 as well as a Customer Reference Board (CRB).

The IQ80219 is intended for general purpose, embedded application development. It is based on the 80219, a single-function device that integrates the Intel XScale® core (ARM* architecture compliant) with intelligent peripherals including a PCI bus application bridge.
