The Ethernet interface has two LEDs for status indication and an RJ-45 network
connector.

SETUP UTILITY
The System BIOS is a Hi-Flex AMIBIOS with a ROM-resident setup utility. The BIOS
Setup Utility allows you to select the following options:
Standard CMOS Setup
Advanced CMOS Setup
Advanced Chipset Setup
Power Management Setup
PCI/Plug and Play Setup
Peripheral Setup
Auto-Detect Hard Disks
Change User Password/Change Supervisor Password
Auto Configuration with Optimal Settings
Auto Configuration with Fail Safe Settings
Save Settings and Exit
Exit Without Saving
LED/Connector Description
Link/Activity LED Green LED which indicates the link status
Off The Ethernet interface did not find a valid link on the
network connection. Transmit and receive are not
possible.
On (solid) The Ethernet interface has a valid link on the network
connection and is ready for normal operation. The Speed
LED identifies connection speed.
On (flashing) Indicates network transmit or receive activity.
Speed LED Amber LED which identifies the connection speed.
Off Indicates a 10Mb/s connection.
On Indicates a 100Mb/s connection.
RJ-45 Network
Connector
The RJ-45 network connector requires a category 5
(CAT5) unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) 2-pair cable for a
100-Mb/s network connection or a category 3 (CAT3) or
higher UTP 2-pair cable for a 10-Mb/s network
connection.
