Install the electronics. Refer to

Determine the proper motor mounting position. Refer to RE-

ASSEMBLING RANGER II FWD-

Integrated Sling Seats (FIGURE 1)

WARNING

The weight of the wheelchair without the user and batteriesisstill between83 and100 lbs.Useproper liftingtechniques(liftwithyourlegs)toavoidinjury. Extreme caution is advised when it is necessary to moveanUNOCCUPIEDpowerwheelchair.Invac- arerecommendsusingtwo(2)assistantsandmak- ingthoroughpreparations.MakesuretouseONLY secure, non-detachable parts for hand-hold sup- ports.

Keep hands and fingers clear of moving parts to avoidinjury.

The overall performance of the wheelchair WILL be affected by the front wheel mounting posi- tion. Refer to REPOSITIONING MOTORS - FWD WHEELCHAIRS in this procedure of the manual BEFORE operating the wheelchair.

UNFOLDING THE WHEELCHAIR.

1.Push down on the seat rails until the seat rails are positioned in the seat guides.

2.Assemble the wheelchair. Refer to FIGURE 1.

FOLDING THE WHEELCHAIR.

1.Remove the batteries and footrests/legrests from the wheelchair. Refer to FIGURE 1.

2.Lift the battery tray UP and out of the way. Refer to FIGURE 1.

3.Lift up on the seat rails of the wheelchair.
