1-2 Connecting a LAN Cable
Connect the unit to a hub or a PC using a LAN cable. For the cable, select category 5 or higher.

When connecting to a PC:
Use a cross cable.
Note
Please check the specifications of the LAN board of the PC since in rare cases the use of a cross cable may not be supported.
1-3 Inserting a CF (Compact Flash) Card
JPEG images can be saved to a CF card. Insert a CF card by following the steps shown below.
Note
Always turn off the power when inserting/removing a CF card. Inserting/removing the card with the power on may cause damage to the recorded files of the card or the card itself.
1. Remove the cover
If the mounting screw is difficult to turn, use a hexagonal wrench (bolt width: 2.5mm).
2. Insert a CF card
Make sure the top side is facing up and insert the card securely.

4. Reattach the cover
