Operating the CF card

JPEG files can be recorded to the CF card. Formatting CF card and deleting JPEG files are

available from Web browser. Seeing JPEG files is available from PC.

Operating in the CF CARD SETUP screen

In the CF CARD SETUP screen, the CF card can be formatted and image files can be deleted. Login as an administrator to perform settings. ( See “3-3 Launching the Browser”, page 26)

Format

When clicking “Format”, formatting of the CF card will start.

When “Log Record” is enabled, log data is stored in the CF card.

When clicking “Del Files”, selected image files are deleted.

FAT32 or Ext2 can be selected as file system for formatting CF card. Ext2 is recommended because of robustness. However, the Ext2 format cannot be read by Windows. When using a CF card reader with Windows, format the CF card using the FAT32.

When deleting, all files in the jpeg-1 and jpeg-2 directories of each Alarm directory will be deleted.

The unit does not support hot-swap of CF card. Turn off the power when inserting/removing a CF card.
