Setting satellite receiver’s brand and programme positions

After installation, set the satellite receiver’s brand correctly; otherwise, the satellite controller cannot work correctly.

1Turn on the satellite receiver.

2Show the Main Setup screen on the unit.

Press SET UP.

• The HDD SET UP screen appears.

NOTE

If the built-in clock has not been set, the INTIAL SET UP screen appears. If this happens, set the clock first (see page 69).

3Select the Initial Set screen.

1Press 3 or 2 to move to “INITIAL SET UP,” then press °.

2Press 3 or 2 to move to “INITIAL SET”, then press

ENTER.

4Select the Sat Control Set screen.

Press 5 or ° to move to “SAT CONTROL SET,” then press ENTER or 3.

[ENTER] [SET UP]

5Enter the satellite receiver’s brand.

Press the appropriate number buttons to enter the brand code from the list on page 19, then press ENTER.

•If the brand code you entered is invalid, the code field will be reset. Enter the correct brand code again.

NOTE

If the unit is playing or recording, you cannot set the brand code.

6Select a programme position number for the satellite receiver for a test.

Press the appropriate number buttons to enter one of the programme positions (1 to

999)for the satellite receiver, then press ENTER.

• The unit makes a trial to change to the selected programme position number on the satellite receiver.
