Selecting programmes on the

NAVIGATION screen

This HDD can store up to 100 recordings.

You can show the beginnings of these recorded programmes on the HDD Navigation screen, and select one to play or select some to play in your intended order.

•When using the buttons on the unit, make sure that the HDD lamp on the unit is lit. If not, press DVD/ HDD so that the HDD lamp lights.

•When using the remote control, slide the DVD/TV/ HDD selector to the right (HDD), then press ENTER.

•HDD Navigation does not work during Automatic Satellite Recording (see page 46).

To go back to the previous screen while operating HDD Navigation, press RETURN.

Playing back a programme or a play list

All recorded programmes (except the programmes being recorded temporarily) are automatically listed on the REC LIST. On the other hand, you need to make your own play lists yourself.

•On the PLAY LIST, you can register your own play lists. For details about how to make a play list, see page 37.

1Show the NAVIGATION screen.

Press HDD NAVIGATION.

2Enter the REC LIST or PLAY LIST screen.

Press 3 or 2 to move to “REC LIST” or “PLAY LIST,” then press ENTER.

•The REC LIST or PLAY LIST screen appears.

Ex. When selecting REC

3Select a programme to play.

Press 3 / 2 / ° / 5 to move to a thumbnail you want,

then press ENTER.

•The playback selection screen appears.

4Start playback.

Press 3 or 2 to move to one of the playback modes (see the table below), then press ENTER.

BEGINNING Select to start playback from the beginning.

RESUME Select to start playback where you have stopped last.

REPEAT Select to repeat the same programme. Repetition continues until you stop it.

NOTE

You cannot select “RESUME” for newly recorded programme

(with icon).

To stop playback

Press 7 (CLEAR).

•When you select Repeat Play (“REPEAT”), pressing 3 (SELECT) cancels the repeat, and resumes normal playback.
