To assign your own station names

1Press SET UP.

2Press 3 or 2 to move to “INITIAL SET UP,” then press °.

3Press 3 or 2 to move to “TUNER SET,” then press ENTER.

4Press ° or 5 to move to “MANUAL CH SET,” then press ENTER.

2Press °or 5to select a programme position number in which a station you want to assign a name to is stored, then press ENTER.

The channel number (under “CH”) and station name (under “ID”) start ﬂashing.

The Manual Channel Setup screen appears.

4Press 3 repeatedly until the station name (under “ID”) starts ﬂashing.

5Press 3 once so that the

ﬁrst character position for station name (under “ID”) starts ﬂashing.

6Press ° or 5 to select a

5, A–Z, 0–9, –, ∗, +, and _ (space) appears in sequence.

•Repeat this step to assign a name (up to 4 characters).

•To correct a mis-entry, press 2 (or 3) until the incorrect character starts ﬂashing, then press ° or 5 to enter the correct character.

7Press ENTER.

The conﬁrmation screen appears.

8Repeat steps 2 to 7 to change other station names.
