Precautions for the safe use of batteries

If the batteries are used improperly, their lives may be shortened, they may burst or their contents may leak. Observe the following precautions carefully.

Never touch liquid if it has leaked out of a battery.

Do not mix new and old batteries, or batteries of different types, when replacing them.

Remove used-up batteries and dispose of them properly.

When the discarding batteries, environmental problems must be considered and the local rules or laws governing the disposal of the used-up batteries must be followed strictly.
