SECTION II GETTING READY TO SEW

Connecting Machine to Power Supply
Before connecting thepower cord, make sure the voltage
and frequency shown onthe machine conform to your
electrical power.
Tosew using foot control (Conventional sewing)
*First,turn offthe power switch.
Second, insert the foot control plug (_) into the
machine.
Third, insert machine plug (_) intomachine.
Fourth, insert power supply plug (_) into electrical
outlet.

(_) Power supply cord (_ Foot control
(_) Sticker (When embroidery sewing, the foot control can
not be used. )
Tosewusingstart/stop button (Fanbroiderysewing)
*First,turn offthe power switch (_).
Second, insert only themachine plug (_) into the
madline.
Third, insertpower supplyplug (_) into electrical
OLldet.
Turn on the power switch.
Note :
* The statr/stop button cannot be used during
conventional sewing. It is used only for
embroidery sewing.
* The foot control cannot beused in embroidery mode.
* If you turn offthe power switch, wait 5seconds
before turning it on again.
* After turning on the power it is not abnormal
to hear a slight humming sound coming from
the internal motor.
For Your Safety
While in operation, always keep your eye on the
sewing area, and do not touch any moving parts
such asthe thread take-up lever, handwheelor
needle.
Always turn offthe power switch and unplug
fromthe power supply:
-When leavingthe machine unattended.
-When attaching orremoving parts.
-When deaning the machine.
Do not place anything on the foot control, except
in Use.

Sewing speed can be varied by the foot control.
The harder you presson the foot control, the faster the
machine runs.
