72 Personal Information Management
1. Select Menu Tools & Ga mes Tetr is.
The Tetris® introduction screen appears for a few seconds and then
reveals the Tetris® main menu. (To skip the introduction press .)
2. Select an option by highlighting it and pressing to select it.
÷New GameInitiates game play.
÷Resume GameContinues a game you have already started.
÷ScoreboardsAllows you to set a time limit for games.
Choose No Time Limit (default), 2 min, 3 min, or 5 min.
÷SettingsChoose a level of play, sounds, and game type:
÷Starting levelChoose a level of play. There are nine
levels of play, with each level increasing in speed. The level
automatically increases after 10 lines are cleared.
÷Game TypeSame as scoreboards. Set a time limit for
game play.
÷SoundChoose when you hear music with this game.
Select from Sound Always, During Title, and No Sound.
÷InstructionsHow to play the game.
Navigating Through the Game
Press the following keys to guide the blocks down the screen:
Understanding How the Points are Assigned
Single = 10, Double = 25, Triple = 75, Tetris = 300. Points for clearing
lines and scrolling are multiplied by current level.
Saving a Game While in Play
÷Press and select Save Game.
