Limitation

One message can be stamped at a time. However, you can combine with only one user stamp.

When you combine this feature with the Magazine or Booklet function, only the first page is stamped.

Note

One of the following eight messages can be stamped on copies with a frame around it: “COPY”, “URGENT”, “PRIORITY”, “For Your Info.”, “PRELIMI- NARY”, “For Internal Use Only”, “CONFIDENTIAL”, “DRAFT”.

You can change some Preset Stamp settings (e.g., density) with the User Tools. See ⇒ P.323 “Preset Stamp”, ⇒ P.170 “To change the stamp position, size or density”.

The default stamp position is “Top Right”. You can change this with the User Tools. See ⇒ P.323 “Preset Stamp”, ⇒ P.170 “To change the stamp position, size or density”.

You can change the stamp language with the User Tools. See ⇒ P.323 “Preset Stamp”.

You can select whether the Preset Stamp is printed negative if it overlaps black parts of the image. See ⇒ P.323 “Preset Stamp”.

You cannot combine Preset Stamp function with Staple or Punch function.
