11 Redial/Pause •In Fax mode, redial the last number entered.
•Insert a three–second pause in the number to be dialed to wait for an
outside line or get through an automated answering system. Enter a
pause only when you have already begun programming the number.
12 Phone Book Access any of the programmed shortcuts. For more information on
programming a shortcut, see Setting up shortcuts on page 47.

13 •Scroll through menu options.
•Decrease a number.
14 •Scroll through menu options.

15 •Choose the option that appears on the display.
•Save settings.
16 Numeric keypad In Copy mode: Select the number of copies you want to make.
In Fax mode:
•Enter fax numbers.
•Select letters when creating a Phone Book entry.
•Type numbers to enter or edit the time or date on the display.
17 Content Select the type of material being copied or faxed. Select one of
the following choices:
•Text
•Mixed–text and photo
•Photo
18 Start Start a copy, scan, or fax job, depending on which mode is
selected.
