When you see this:

You can do this:

 

 

From File

Specify the name of the exported file you would like to

 

restore to the OneTouch® DMS database. You may enter the

 

name of the file with the directory path as the first part of

 

the name. You may also use the Browse function to help

 

locate a file or directory.

 

Click on the Examine File button to display the patient

 

names in the exported file before you restore the records to

 

the OneTouch® DMS database.

From and To

Specify the date range for the data records you want to

 

restore. The From and To dates are required data entry

 

fields. You may modify the dates in the field by entering the

 

desired date. Or you can click on the down arrow. The pop-

 

up calendar box will appear where you can change the day,

 

month, and year.

 

 

Select Patient

Specify the patient whose data records you would like to

 

import. To select a patient, click on the down arrow in the

 

field. Select the desired patient. You may import data

 

records for only one patient at a time.

 

 

Backing Up Data

Periodically copy OneTouch.mdb to a network drive, Zipdisk, tape backup, or other storage media to guard against accidental data loss. Every three months OneTouch® DMS will generate a reminder to backup your database.
