Diagnosing An Ice Machine That Will Not Run

!Warning

High (line) voltage is applied to the control board (terminals #55 and #56) at all times. Removing control board fuse or moving the toggle switch to OFF will not remove the power supplied to the control board.

Verify primary voltage supply to ice

Verify that the fuse or circuit breaker is closed.

Verify the high-pressure cutout is closed.

The H.P.C.O. is closed if primary power voltage is present at terminals

Verify control board fuse is OK.

If the bin switch light functions, the fuse is OK.

Verify the bin switch functions properly.

A defective bin switch can falsely indicate a full bin of ice.

Verify ICE/OFF/CLEAN toggle switch

A defective toggle switch may keep the ice machine in the OFF mode.

Verify low DC voltage is properly
