COMPASS USER GUIDE

Channels not selected have a dark green Select button and typically a black (white) background color.

Isolate

Isolates the channel from channel linking behaviors (dependent on Channel Linking Preferences (p. 76) settings). Isolated channels show a bright orange Isolate button and a amber (orange) background color on all pages.

Channels not isolated have an amber Isolate button and typically a black (white) background color.

Link

Assigns the channel to a link group. Linked channels show a link number on the button. Channels not linked show a blank button. Enabled links show a bright blue link button. Bypassed links have a yellow link button.

In the Select Input Link Group window (displayed when you click a link button), bypassed groups show a yellow button, while enabled

groups are dark yellow. If you wish to enable a link group and assign the selected channel simultaneously, do so in that order; when the group assignment selector is clicked, the window closes.

Label

Displays the channel label. You may type a new label.

Meter

Displays the input signal level. Click to clear peak hold; Alt+click to toggle the digital display.

Mute

Mutes the channel. On the Input Processing page, muted channels show a dark red input channel view button (bright red when the channel is viewed).

Gain

Sets the channel gain. Both a value entry box and an encoder are provided.

Delay

Sets the channel delay. Both a value entry box and an encoder are provided.

Processing Shortcuts

Displays the appropriate Input Processing page.
