“Stacking” EQ Handles for Composite EQ

You can place two or more EQ handles at the same frequency. This will result in an additive effect, allowing you to create notch filters and other effects.

Viewing Exact Plot Values

Click and drag anywhere on the plot to view the gain response and phase response at the frequency corresponding to the cursor location.

TruShaping EQ

The TruShaping equalizer provides four first-order filters that control shelving EQ and bandpass EQ. With TruShaping, phase shift is kept to a minimum, making it ideal for shaping low frequency signal and the associated subjective qualities perceived by the listening audience. When VX-1 Mode is enabled, the EQ curve will duplicate the functionality of the Meyer Sound VX-1.

Setting TruShaping EQ Values

There are several methods available to set the value for a TruShaping EQ control:

Drag a horizontal handle to adjust gain.

Drag a vertical handle to adjust frequency.

Drag a handle crosspoint to adjust gain and frequency simultaneously.

Type values in the Gain and Freq boxes.
