Stand Removal Instructions
CAUTION
•A minimum of TWO PEOPLE are needed to safely remove the stand.
•One person needs to hold the TV, while the other person removes the stand.
•Failure to follow these recommendations may result in personal injury as well as damage to the product.
1.Before starting to remove the stand, make sure to disconnect the AC power cord from the AC power outlet.
2.Spread the protective sheet that was wrapped around the TV on a flat, even surface (such as a sturdy table). The protective sheet will help prevent the display from being damaged.
IMPORTANT: To avoid damaging the screen, make sure there are no foreign objects under or on top of the protective sheet.
3.With two people firmly grasping the left and right sides of the TV, gently place the TV face down on the protective sheet with the display stand hanging over the edge of the table. See the illustration to the right.
4.
Both TV models can be swiveled manually 30 degrees left and right.
5.Use a Philips screwdriver to remove the four
(4) stand screws. See the illustration to the right.
6.While one person holds on to the TV with both hands, the other person grasps the plastic portion of the stand (see illustration to the right) and removes the stand by pulling it away from the TV in the direction of the large arrow shown in both illustrations.
Place the stand and screws in a safe place for future use.
7.The TV is now ready for mounting. Refer to the instructions provided with the Wall Mount Kit (purchased separately).
